    search users thread

far I know there are two ways to find users threads
    first one through search option
    http://www.xxxxxxxxx.com/forum/search.php?searchid=12345

second one when clicking at member name in postbit and drop menu shows option to find threads of that member
    http://www.xxxxxxxxx.com/forum/search.php?do=finduser&u=12345

my problem that both are not showing the same no of results

first one shows complete no. as been set in admincp but second one shows half and less of total results in first way

    any idea??

Not sure what you are asking but search IDs are emptied every hour.

Change CKEditor Colors to Match Style (for 4.1.4 and above)

to explain my problem in details

in navbar when i click on search i got full page of search with many options
so i put a member name in the proper box and click on search, then i get a page for users posts , max. number of results will be according to the no. set in admincp so you can see i got 46 results

but when i view any thread and then click on a member name a drop down menu appear and option to find all member posts where i got 76 result

please see attached images which descibes the above steps

      so why ??

Are some of those posts in forums that are not accessible to all usergroups?

That would be difficult to to without a valid URL.

One could try here The result would be exactly the same, since it's working as designed.

Josef, looking at your screenshots I think I see where you get confused. The third screenshot (search result coming from advanced search) shows all threads a user posted in. There may well be more than one post of this user inside one of those threads. The fifth screenshot shows all posts by the user directly. Hence the difference.

Did you read my answer? That explains it. The two searches return different resultsets. Once you see every single post, the other only the titles of threads the user posted in (and may have posted in more than once).
