adding new usergroup with set of existing permissions?

    Guys,

    I'm confused!

When I create a new usergroup at the top I have 2 options:

Create Usergroup Based off of Usergroup:
Create Forum Permissions Based off of Usergroup:

Whats the difference between the two of them? I cant see what the forum permissions based one does and I would expect it to be the same as the first!

    Many thanks in advance.

Create Usergroup Based off of Usergroup will copy all the stuff in the Usergroup Manager. So, all those settings will be copied to the new group.

Create Forum Permissions Based off of Usergroup will copy all the same Forum Permissions to the usergroup. So, if Usergroup A isn't allowed to see Forum Z, then it will copy that same permission to your new usergroup (Forums & Moderators > Forum Permissions)

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.
