Unable to post discussions in social groups

For some reason I can create groups, add pictures, invite members etc but there is no option to start a discussion.

I have checked all permissions and tried using several different usergroups with no luck.

I have a ticket open with vb but have not gotten a response yet so I am guessing they are off until monday.

The main page said 30 minute wait time ticket answers and after a day I tried here. When it is fixed I will post the fix here in case anyone else has the same issue.

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Social Group Options -> Enable Social Group Messages

Also click Edit Group on the social group's page and make sure Enable Messages is checked.
