RSS feed for categories

Hello, in my forum I have my external.php working for forums: http://www.vb-italy.org/external.php...S2&forumids=17.. but not for categories: http://www.vb-italy.org/external.php...S2&forumids=72. Why?

Because that is a category, not a forum, and there are no posts in it:

http://www.vb-italy.org/forumdisplay.php?f=72

Then if I want to put my *categories*' feed link I will need to put it like this:

&forumids=29,17

.. right?

You can use whatever forum IDs you want (as long as they exist and have posts in them).

Yes, but I meant.. if I want to show all posts from a category that contains two forums (id: 29, 17), I can't link to the category ID in order to include all its forum. I need to write the forums IDs in my RSS link. Right?

Yes; like I said: you can use whatever combination of forum IDs you want.
