    Permissions Problems New Users

I have a Forum that I use to give online courses
So, I give courses every two months

I have for example this forums
    COURSE JANUARY
    COURSE MARCH
    COURSE MAY
    ....

    I have Groups:
    January
    Feb
    May

So, to let users to acces to the corresponding forum

Now, in first course JANUARY I did Create a USER named EXAMPLE
And something strange is happening with permissions

For everery new course, I have to copy every THREAD form last course, because the course is the same content, but for new members

So, after configuring group and forum permissions, I test the forums, with my USER named EXAMPLE

I choose this user, and change primary usergroup, to the current, and test the forum, all seems to be OK

BUT after I add new users and assing the same current GROUP

But the strange thing, is that some THREADS are not showing to this NEE USERS, but, my test user named EXAMPLE, that have assigned the same group, CAN DO

I have a PRODUCT or PLUGING named
    CHANGE POST OWNER
    http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=200952

That can change post owner, and ALSO can change POST DATES and TIME

So, If I use this plugin, and change COPIED POST of CURRENT FORUM, to a current date, so, this users NOW CAN SEE THIS POST

My question is what could be happening, because I don't want to be changing DATES of COPIED post

    THE QUESTION IS:
WHY TOW DIFFERENT USERS, THAT HAVE THE SAME GROUP ASSIGNED, SEEMS TO HAVE DIFERENT PERMISSIONS?

    Thanks

Maybe they have different access masks (user-level permissions):

Admin CP -> Users -> Access Masks

Or maybe this permission is set to No in which case users would only be able to see their own threads:

Admin CP -> Forums & Moderators -> Forum Permissions -> [Edit] -> Can View Others' Threads

      Hi
I have never moved any option in Access Masks
But I disable this option, in main vbulletin Options, and the problem is still happening

I found That the THREADS are visible to this NEW USERS if go to URL of THREAD
BUT this THREADS are not visible in FORUM, so, users can go there

      CAN VIEW OTHER'S TREADS
is set to YES for GROUP

But as I said before, :
1.-If I change DATE of THREAD, then the THREAD is visible in FORUM
2.-Different Users With SAME GROUP Assigned, One of they can view THREADS list in FORUM (this user was created at beginning of forum), and the NEW USERS can't see the list or THREADs in FORUMs

      Any Idea?

      Thanks

If it depends on the posting date then maybe it's this user preference:

User CP -> Edit Options -> Default Thread Age Cut Off

          Thanks a lot
          That was the problem

The user that was having this problem, I think he moved this option in his account

          Regards
