Hi everyone. I just put together a forum for a sheriff's office and I need to keep it as private as possible. Is there a way to create an .htaccess to disallow being indexed?

Create a file called robots.txt (all lower case) and place in your top level publically accessible directory on your domain.
Put the following in robots.txt
Code:User-agent: * Disallow: /
Anybody who says "it can't be done" will usually be interrupted by somebody who is already doing it. -
