Support and IMAP module

I am running vBulletin 2.2.8 and I am planning to upgrade to version 3.8. Is it ok if I disable the apache IMAP module? Is it necessary to have this module loaded for vBulletin to run properly?

On a separate note, what is the standard email alias for support? My understanding is that a standard site license does include email and forums support but the support alias is not listed anywhere.

vBulletin doesn't use the IMAP module to my knowledge. Just be sure to test your email functions after disabling it:

Admin CP -> Maintenance -> Diagnostics -> Email
