Thread Backup

Does anyone know a way to backup a single thread? I do the database backup once every two weeks, my host backs up nightly, but what I really want to do is backup one single thread. I have some on the site that have thousands of historically researched images and I'd like to preserve that one single thread.

There is no way to backup a single thread that I know of.
