    Backing up control panel settings

During the testing of various things, stuff breaks along the way. Deleting and reinstalling is the easy part, but the individual control panel is tedious.

How can the control panel settings (notices, profile fields, options, etc.) be saved so it can be "injected" when reinstalled? Just the basic out of the box stuff.

The goal is to separate injection of settings vs users/forum/group setting

You can backup some things like the vBulletin Options:

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Backup / Restore Settings

Other things like profile fields can't be backed up separately.

I tried the 'Restore Settings XML File' from the file that was dumped to local computer and getting this error:

      Invalid File Specified

There may be a problem with file uploads. Try a test upload:

Admin CP -> Maintenance -> Diagnostics -> Upload

What are the results of the test?
