Archive syntax error

Hi,
Just installed vbulletin 3.8 and noticed when i click the archive link i get the below message.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/egowebne/public_html/archive/index.php on line 483

This problem is now fixed for some reason GoFTP (what I used to upload vbulletin with) added their advertising into the index.php file. I removed the code and it worked.
