    Various questions about social groups

Is there any way to allow members of a social group to send invitations, or can this only be done by the user who created the group? If the members can't invite other members to join, how is the group ever supposed to grow? No one is even going to hear about it.

It seems that a lot of control over a social group is given to the user that initially created the group. What if that user is no longer active? Can control over the group be transferred to another member or is the group essentially dead at that point?

Is there any way to move posts from a forum to a social group?

Only the owner the group and Administrators can send invitations. If they no longer want to run the group(s) they created, they can transfer ownership to a new person from within the group controls. Admins can transfer ownership as well.

Okay, that's great. I have one more question.

When users upload an image to a social group, is there any way for the user to remove that image? I don't see any way to edit or remove an image once it has been placed in the group. Is this something that was added to v3.8 perhaps?

There should be three links under the picture when viewing it. One of them is remove from group. You have to click on the thumbnail to see this. Not sure of the scope of which this link appears but the owner of the image should be able to remove it.
