All Attached Images showing as links

I am not sure if this is a 3.8 prob or not but I began getting complaints after the upgrade.

I have turned off all thumbnails and lightbox and tried every combination of message attachments I can think of. I have checked both forum and usergroup permissions. I have disabled alll plugins. I just don't know what we have changed or done that has caused all of our attached images to now show up as links but my members are getting very frustrated. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

vBulletin Options -> vBulletin Options -> Message Attachment Options.

What does it say for "Showing Attachments Inline"?

Also make sure that show images inline is selected in your UserCP under Edit Options.

UserCP's "show images" is checked.

Showing Attachments Inline is currently set to Yes.

Do they show properly with all addons disabled and a default style?

Even with the default style and the addons (which are few) disabled through the config.php file, the attachments still show as links.
