    PM Search field error

Hi all, when I try to search for a particular pm, down at the bottom of the pm page in my profile, there is an error in the "Sender" field box. The cursor displays just below the field box and of course you cannot enter any text.

    Any clue what's wrong, anyone?

This is testing 3.8 with IE7 on Vista 64 bit Home Premium.

Strange. You might want to report this as a bug.

          Thanks for your reply sockwater...

No it's not a bug, it's an issue with my forum. I sent myself a PM on here and was then able to access the "search" facility without this issue showing. (Pity I didn't think of that before posting a bug report... doh!).

I'll have to check my plug-ins etc...

Edit... No, disabled all plug-ins, hooks and the problem is still there.

Are you using the default style?

Yes I am, even creating a new style (with no parent) fails to correct the issue.

I'm at a loss at how to fix this for sure?

              Thanks for your continued suggestions...

Try reuploading the default vBulletin files, specificly the javascript and css files found in the default package.

                  Thanks for that Zachery.

I've built a new test forum using just the 3.8beta files... accessed from a different computer it displays the exact same issue?

                  It must be a bug?

Hi Zachery, I did and changed it as the function works ok on here.

I'll try and reactivate it, cheers for your reply.
