    vb_patch387 needed in 387-PL3?

Am in process of updating to 3.8.7-PL3. I notice there is a vb_patch387 file available. Do I need this, or is it included in PL3 already?

If you are just now downloading the software, then all the patches are already included in it.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

Since PL3 is still the nomenclature for the current download, I'm assuming that means it has all the current patches included, and that the patch should be applied to PL2 and earlier. Is this not right? There weren't more than one version of PL3 made available were there?

vB 3.8.7-PL3 downloaded 9/7 @ 15:29 per the comments at bottom of the php files.
      vb_patch387 not downloaded 'til 9/23 @ 18:26

Last time I applied a patch to an earlier version, it made the replacement files show up as suspect under Maintenance | Diagnostics. I'd rather avoid this if possible as this is a good first check when one thinks the board may have been hacked. If bad guys were to alter one of the patch replacement files, Diagnostics would give no further indication.

Heck, maybe my best bet is just to download another 387-PL3 copy today and overwrite what I've already got in place.

If you downloaded 3.8.7PL3 on 9/7, then you have no need to download the PL3 patch files as you already have the patched version installed.
