Years ago I swear there was a section here on vbulletin.com dedicated to big forums with two databases. I need to find more information about installing a second database and all related to it as forum is bigger now. Can you tell me if such section exists here? Can't find a thing today. Thanks for your time.
Large forum, second database?

Nope, there has never been a section dedicated to multiple database setups. Its 100% not possible. vBulletin runs in a single database. If your webhost has a restriction on database size to less that of your actual hosting size, find a new webhost. -
Maybe he means multiple servers?
Like one for the database and another for images and attachments if they are in a file system....steven

by vskylabvMy database is close to 7 gigs. I'm looking to optimize this a bit and reduce the size. Any thoughts or suggestions? Server configurations? What I can drop?
Thanks!-
