    yeah, I have this... but the odd thing is that I have users logged in as imported_username

    How? surely they would never have typed in that on logging in?

    What will happen if I delete 'username' and rename 'imported_username' to 'username'?

        Have you tried merging the two usernames? Have you updated your tables?
