    New Install?

I have a dumb question, but how can I change it to where people go to my domain name to access vB instead of my domain name/forum? Thanks for the help.

You will need to copy or move all the vB files and subdirectories up one directory. Then you need to set the correct forum URL here:

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Site Name / URL / Contact Details -> Forum URL

And in the Members Area under 'License Options':

I have done all but moving the files. Right now I have a folder under public html called forum. That is where my files are. I tried moving those files directly under public html but nothing seemed to happen.

Do you have an index.html in that directory or an .htaccess file that redirects to the /forum directory?

The index.html is under the public html section, not the forum folder?

Delete the index.html file to have vBulletin open automatically once the files are moved into public_html

Worked great. Thanks! So what was/is the purpose of the index.html file?

That file will be the homepage for your domain. Files are executed in a particular order with index.html coming before index.php - hence why you couldn't see your forum.
