How to clear COPPA user?

We have a new member, he says he entered the wrong birthdate upon registration. His birthdate is Dec 1952.

Now he can't create his account because he gets an alert noting he's under 13.

I can't find his email or username anywhere. Our COPPA usergroup is empty.

Can he just clear his browser cache? And try again.

He needs to delete his cookies. COPPA users have a cookie that blocks them from registration.

You can also edit the user in the AdminCP and change "COPPA User" to No and update their birthday. Then they don't need to register a new account.

So far I'm unable to find his account, if he made one.

He sent me this:

"I have removed cookies and even internet history. Still won’t let me register for an account. Under Register, it states "This website does not allow registration by anyone under the age of 13. Sorry but some of the content is not suitable.”

I’m baffled! Tried everything."

He just responded and says he got in. I found his account, looks good.
