It isn't caused by the database backup. The slow down is caused by other systems in the datacenter. We've been investigating it for a while and are working to resolve the issue. We hope to have it resolved soon. -
Can anyone answer why the site slows everyday around 9 PM pst? I'm thinking that is the time of the daily back up but i'm only guessing. It seems to happen like clockwork every dayLeave a comment:

Daily cloud backup
Does the cloud back up daily at the same time? We have been noticing a site slow down @ approx 9:30 pm pst daily. Could this be due to the backup process?

All I wanted was a simple backup of the cloud site so we could bring the data over to the Connect version and get back online.
