The system did not let me put up a Poll and a Calendar in the same post. Only one or the other. Am I missing something or is that just the way it works?

I wanted to know if there's a way to add more than one poll/event in a topic.
just asking because my forum start to look a bit like "garbage" with that much topics... -
I hoping to find a way to post a poll but without the option to see the results until its over. Not site-wide but for a poll in one particular channel. Any chance of that? Thanks
