    Blog editing permission

My users are not able to edit their Blog entry’s. The edit button is there but we are getting a “you have a pending unsaved” warning message. (See attachments) When I try it as an admin I get the edit box and all is well. Attached is the channel permissions list for the blogs. I tried different options but can’t seem to figure out which setting will allow the blog creater to edit.
    Thanks

When they go into a new topic or reply edit does it say "You have previously unsaved content. Discard or Restore?" Would be in a yellow banner at the top of the editor box.

Yes we have that feature enabled on our site. We are able to edit anywhere else but the blogs forum

If they clear the saved edit from that banner, can they edit on their blog?

There is nothing to clear because the box to edit in never pops up.
Just the warning message that I attached. I made my own new user account and started a blog to test it out. I got the same results as my members.

As mentioned it works fine as an Admin

Yes.. This is why I asked if they went to a NEW TOPIC or Reply if it appeared? If they do that and they clear the saved edit, do they get the same issue when editing a blog entry?

So I made a second blog entry, and I am able to edit that one. Going back to the first entry it's still the same. The warning to save or cancel the unsaved edit remained but there is no box or option to do that.
            This is becoming very confusing

I made another entry and added a thumbnail pic using the camera button. I am now not able to edit that like the last one.

I went to a new blog post and the discard option did not show. I still can’t edit
There are no pending edits to save or discard!!!

Alright Wayne here is what I am finding. If I make a blog post with just text, I can go back and edit after it's posted.

If I make a blog post and use the camera button / icon putting up a thumbnail attachment with or without text, I can't go back and edit. It seems the thumbnail is locking it out

              Your thoughts??

Will try to replicate it. This post is the very first time I've even heard of this error and haven't been able to trigger it under any circumstance. More specifics including the browser used, browser extensions used, and the exact steps to recreate would be helpful.

Would it be helpful to just try it on the username I made up on my site? I can start a blog and then you can log in as the made up user

The test blog is up and it's doing the same thing. Won't edit if it has an attachment.. Edits without an attachment

I'm thinking that since the Admin can edit with an attachment could it be some sort of a permission thing. Feel free to go onto the Test blog I started using the user name "blogger".

                just change the password

This error message appears if you clicked Edit on a post and then you tried to click Edit on another post. But I'm not sure why that's happening in the issue reported here.

I have experienced something similar. Could this be related to closing a browser with an open edit without logging out first?

Does it happen with any 'ordinary' user, or just certain ones?
