"You have a pending edit unsaved. Please save..." Can't get rid of this.

I moved a copied a topic from one blog to another (cut and paste ). I can't edit that content in the destination as either the owner of target blog, or as an administrator. There is nothing to save.

I have subsequently removed the blog that the topic was originally in. Nothing changed. I can edit the title as an administrator but not the text.

I deleted the related posts and started over. Apparently one cannot move or copy a topic from one blog to another as an admin anyway.
