Can I, How to, edit the Help text.

I tried to edit the Help text a small amount to make it more directly applicable to the NAVAvols form. But it when I click the Edit button for general_registration_gfaqtext the text is shown but I can not edit it.

Should I be able to? If so how?

This is not a big deal and can use it as it but I would prefer to refine the phrasing to match the actual requirements of the NAVA association for registration.

In the Admin CP in the options down the left hand side find User Manual (Help) > Help Manual

There you can edit any of the help sections.

Yes you can change it, find the phrase in the phrase manager and copy it to the box below, edit, then save.

I am trying to edit the text in the Help Manager/Registration Then click the [Edit] link. The attached image is what appears but I can not in fact edit it.

I think you have to copy the title and the text to the boxes below (translations), then edit them and save, like you do for phrases.

However, I've never done that, all I have done is add some new FAQ Help items.

So if you do try it I would make sure you keep a copy of the original in case it goes wrong or wait for support to come along and answer.

As stated above, you have to use the Translation boxes below. There will be one of each installed language. To format your content you must use HTML. Removing the contents of the title and text boxes and saving will reset that translation to the default text.

These are just phrases and work the same way the Languages & Phrases system does. They are just separated out into a more convenient interface because they are more likely to be edited by customers.
