    Category / forum question

I have 4 category’s and some of them have sub forums. I would like to make a new forum and drag and drop these 4 category’s into the newly made forum. I did already test that they could be placed under a new forum but I was reluctant to save it until I checked here first. I certainly don’t want to risk losing the info that exsists in these categories. Attached is a screen shot showing the 4 plus the subs..

    TIA

Speaking personally, I've never been fond of that interface and I prefer to organise forums and categories via the channel manager in the admincp.
"Old school" but I prefer it that way.

However, either method should work without issue.

Thanks Mark for your advice. I ended up doing it the drop and drag way in site builder cause it's easier on this brain.
A couple glitches but they moved in the right spots the second time around

A caveat is that if you have any hidden forums, i.e. Display Order = 0, using the Channel tool in Site Builder to re-arrange forums will expose them. That is one reason why I recommend using Channel Manager in the AdminCP instead.
