can't delete a picture without having to upload a replacement

Hi vbulletin staff.

If users have uploaded a picture, when they try to delete the picture, the only two options are to 'upload' or 'cancel'. If they click 'cancel', the picture that they want to delete won't be deleted. If they click 'upload', they have to upload another pic. There is no way to get out of having to click on either of these two options.

Is there a way for users to delete a picture and NOT have to upload a replacement picture?

When you use the Camera icon to post images, you are creating a Gallery content type. Gallery content type requires at least one image and content type cannot be changed once a post is created. That's by design. Other content types are Text, Poll, Video, Link.

There's a JIRA to change that design but it has never been implemented.
