I found another issue....AVATARS! I see on the site...that Avatars are showing up properly...however...when I look up a user in the ADMINCP, that avatar does not show up...I only get a box with a question mark in it. Let me know how to proceed???? Kirk |

If you save the user in the avatar screen without making any changes, does it show up then?MARK.B

When I open a customer profile in the ADMIN CP....it get the little square with the question mark. If I click "Change Avatar" it opens a new window and in that window under CUSTOM AVATAR I get the box with a question mark in it.
NOW....I'm not sure that this is the problem...but when I was doing the upgrade to CLOUD...they asked me to move the avatars into the file system. So I did....could that have something to do with why it shows up on the open forum but not in the ADMIN section?

Interesting...
I've never been able to see avatars in the AdminCP on vBulletin 5. There are the buttons to change the avatar and signature picture, but there isn't even a box or anything like you're describing and never has been.
Can you show us a screenshot of what you're seeing?Comment

They always have since we moved to Cloud.

Hmm... well either it has something to do with migrating to vB5/Cloud or my site is a unicorn.Comment

They don't show properly on some Cloud sites due to the way the system is configured. All cloud sites use the same set of files. For those items that are custom like Avatars, there are a series of symbolic links that point to other storage locations. These don't seem to work properly in vBulletin (they probably never have) and so the Avatars don't appear where they should. There is a JIRA open on this. It will be tricky to fix because the fix for Cloud may break the system for download sites.Translations provided by Google.

That makes sense then and I just checked my self-hosted site and do see the avatars there.Comment

I have noticed that some of the avatars on my forum do not fill the avatar box. In order for it too fit it seems you have to use a square image. I currently have max width and height set to 800 pixels...
