Let an IP address make 5 guest posts, and then require that IP to register?

    Hi all.

Is there an option in the settings to let an IP address make 5 guest posts, and then require that IP to register before being allowed to make further posts?

I let guests make posts to make it easier for drive-by visitors to quickly and easily participate without having to register, but some visitors continually return to post as guests, and this causes confusion in threads where multiple guests are active, and quoting each other.

    Thanks in advance.

Sorry, there is no function to do this.
