Usergroup upgrade for a time limit

This year we had a raffle to fund our web site

I would like to moved those users to a separate usergroup but I would ike to put a timer on that move. That way if they do not help fund the site next year they would move back to being “regular” members.

Is there a way to do that?

    Thanks!

This would be a hack because you would lose track of their original join date, but you could set their join date to the current day, then set up a promotion that will "promote" them back to a regular user after 365 days registered.

Interesting, I never thought of that. I’m going to go play wth the usergroup area and see how that works.

      Thanks!

        Set up a paid subscription.
Go into the User's Profile in the AdminCP
Add the paid subscription to their account.
When the subscription expires, they will be moved back to their original usergroup.
