    Missing tabs

We have just moved over to VB5 cloud and I am noticing one or two issues and ask for help please. One member has reported that she doesn't have last activity and my subscriptions tabs on the forum page. Screen shot attached. Any advice appreciated.

Secondly, when I copy and paste a paragraph on the first few words appear when I click post.

    Thank you

    1. Is it only that user that can't see those tabs on that particular URL?

    2. Where are you copying and pasting from? Does the cutoff happen at an apostrophe? If so, copy and past the text into Notepad then re-copy and into your forum - does it post in that instance?

Only one user has reported this so far with regards the tabs.

I've copied and pasted to note first as advised and the same thing happen - It copies over and once I hit post it disappears leaving only the first few words and there is not an apostrophe at the point.

        1. The user has navigated to /forum which doesn't have content in it's own right so the tabs shouldn't be available. It's the equivalent of https://www.vbulletin.com/forum/forum on here - if she uses the 'Forums' link in the navigation bar, she'll go to the actual forums home page and see the tabs.

        2. Can you save the text in a .txt file and attach it to a reply here so that I can take a look at it please along with a note of where exactly it's cutting off.

Text attached - When I press post all i get is:

          "Hi All,

I currently have a customer who has retained just over"

Can you delete text file when you have done with it please, Trevor?

I'm not sure what you mean by the answer to the tab issue.. Sorry

When you paste the text in, if you delete the £ sign and then type it back in, does the full post save now?

When I remove the £ sign it allows me to copy and paste it. When I edit the post and add the £ sign it disappears again to the original position.

User's posts are now disappearing as they hit post.

Can you raise a ticket for the Internal Server Errror please and we'll pass that on and a separate ticket for the disappearing posts.

Issue #2 is because your site is not using a UTF-8 database. You need to convert your database to UTF-8 and specify UTF-8 as the character set in the AdminCP under Languages & Phrases -> Language Manager. Edit your language to set the character set.
