How come we can't upload SVG files?

You should be able to upload any kind of file you want. You would just need to add the file type in the AdminCP.
AdminCP > Attachments > Attachment Type Manager > Add New Extension (located at the bottom right) -
Ah I see. That is not an attachment so what I said does not apply.

Well its not just you. I get the same message about an invalid file. I'm guessing that file type isn't allowed for some reason but I don't know why.
I'm trying to find a definitive answer and if it can be changed. I'll update you if and when I find more info.
My guess is that vBCloud File Manager is specifically for uploading images and I don't think SVG, DXF, etc. are classified as simple images.Comment

Okay so basically the software does not recognize SVG files as image files at this time. There are a few JIRAs created about SVG files though so voting and commenting on this could help change that. Check here.
I created one specifically for the vBCloud File Manager but customers cannot see those ones.Comment
