The page I am trying to edit keeps defaulting me back to a blog format I simply want it to be an about us page with only the paragraph I am putting in there how do I make this happen?

Is it possible to take the whole blog aspect away or can I lock out the blogs so no more blogs can be posted?

I'm not sure what you mean by a "blog format"...do you have a link to the page please?

i dont know how to give you the link but for instance on the tab that says about us there is a place for people to blog and I was wondering if there was a way to remove that?

Looks like what you've done there is edit the blogs page to make it into an ABout Us page....
What you should really do is make a brand new page.
I've done this for you now.

again sorry for being a pain in the ass.... Also another question amoung all the questions I am asking you is there a way for me to type on the page itself and see what i am typing besides bringiing in an html moduel because i guess i dont know how to use the html moduel to make the writing look the way i want if that makes any sense

That's WYSIWYG...no it won't do that. You would need to format it using basic html.
