When you post a new topic you have 3 buttons on the right side for file upload, advance editor and smiles. Can I added a GIF button next to the smile button? if so, what would be the code for it and where would I input it.

Adding extra editor buttons would require custom code.
However, what is it you want a 'gif' button to do? A gif is just one type of image, and image upload and image embedding buttons already exist in the editor.MARK.B

Right now I have smiles mixed in with adimated gifs. I was hoping to separate the to types when you click on the smile button. Right now they are all in one group.Comment

You can do that by arranging them into two groups in the smilie manager in the admincp.
Call one something like 'Standard Smilies' and the other 'Animated Smilies' Or whatever suits you.
Obviously both groups will still appear under the same button, you won't get two buttons, but it does separate them out for you.Last edited by Mark.B; Wed 23 Nov '16, 8:19am.MARK.B
