Need to bring my forum up to current version

I want to bring my vbulletin forum up to something current. Currently running vbulletin 3.7.0 and want to go to the latest version.
What are my options and steps? Can you migrate out of 3.7.0 to Vb Cloud?

You can upgrade straight from 3.7.0 to either:
3.8.9
4.2.3
5.2.3
Those are the current versions of each branch. You would need to upgrade your license though - $149 if you want to use vB3 or vB4, $249 for vB5.

Alternatively, as you suggest, you can move it to cloud but we would need to upgrade your forum to 5.2.3, as vB5 is the only version running on cloud.

Note that upgrades to either vB4 or vB5 will result in the loss of ALL custom styles and add-ons, as these are not compatible.
Note also that on Cloud you cannot import custom styles, though you can create your own. You also do not have access to plugins / products or templates on cloud, though you can add custom css.

With VB Cloud do you also host the mysql instance? Does vbulletin do the complete migration? How does that work? I am not using any custom styles or add-ons, so that wouldn't be a big deal.

Everything is slef contained on Cloud, the only exception to this would be the domain. Do be aware that if using your own domain it needs to be in the format something.domain.com. The 'something' could be www, but the important bit is that you cannot have subfolders...eg you cannot have www.domain.com/something. So if your existing domain works like that, you'll need to be aware of the impact on search engine results.

What is the cost for the cloud migration? My current domain name is redregulator.com so that will be fine to move to the cloud.
