vBulletin 5 doesn't have a reputation system, (although the core of it is used in the background). It uses a Likes system instead.

I see the likes for posts.. So what is the deal with the bar below avatars? For example mine on this post has none, where yours is all the way lit up.. On my forum no one has any lit bars

It works very similarly to the old reputation...as it's that system that powers the likes. So each time you're given a 'Like' it adds to the alorithm that calculates the bar.
If you hover over the bar you will see the same reputation values from vB3 and vB4 are displayed.

Nobody will have any lit up parts of the bar until they start getting likes...it builds up over time.

In Usergroups > Usergroup Manager > edit the usergroup and look under "User Reputation System" - are all those set to Yes?

And on the forums, have the users look under the dropdown for their username > User Settings > Account > Reputaion Level and have them make sure that is checked or else they are 'hiding' their reputation level and others will not be able to see it.

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.
