How can a user get 245 posts when you look at there profile they only show 56.
? Does the system count all replies to posts in the users posts.

Just a follow up on this one user is showing 245 posts but as the site is only new it shows Topics: 43 Posts: 172 so how can one user have 245 posts.

I suggest to count comments as posts, because users don't use comments if enabled. They always create a new post, because only posts lifts up their post counter. Post counter is one condition for promotions....
