Controlling default display order of topics within a channel

When I was using version 3. . . I had some forum sections where it made sense to display the threads (topics) in descending order based on number of replies. Is that no longer possible with vB Cloud?

Edit the page in Sitebuilder then edit the Channel Display Module. Then set Topics Sort By option to Replies.

Thanks but this has the effect of changing the display order in ALL forum sections. I want it to affect only the channel I'm viewing when I click Edit Page. Is that not how it works?

When saving and prompted to overwrite template, select No and specify a new template name.
