You can do this in .htaccess with a 301 redirect. This is a basic example.

Code:

Redirect 301 /forum/url-of-subforum  http://www.yoursite.com/forum/url-of-new-page

You can't use .htaccess on Cloud....

You could probably do it with Replacement Variable Manager, replacing

<link rel="canonical" href="http://www.yoursite.com/forum/url-of-subforum" />

with:

Code:

<link rel="canonical" href="http://www.yoursite.com/url-of-new-page" />
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0; url=http://www.yoursite.com/url-of-new-page">

Change the URLs accordingly.

Note: Text to replace has a character limit (I don't know off-hand) so I'm not sure if this will work, but it's worth a try.
