Adding a Moderator

I added a member as a Moderator however he's not listed as a Moderator in AdminCP > Channel Management > Show All Moderators
He is listed as a Moderator under: AdminCP > Users > Search for Users > his member name

When he logs in, he sees the "Mod" button at the bottom of the screen, however when he click it, he's taken to Moderator Control Panel and prompted to enter his password. When he enters his password, he's not able to log in, the screen refreshes and prompts him to enter his password again.

Adding a user to the Moderator Usergroup doesn't make them a moderator. It makes them a member of the usergroup. The usergroup is provided as a container and nothing more.

To add a moderator to a forum go to Channel Management -> Channel Manager. Scroll to the Channel/Forum you want them to moderate and use the Moderator dropdown on the far right column to add them.
