Is there a way to add a section/module in the Forums? A place where files can be uploaded and shared? Perhaps a "channel" dedicated to this?

I don't see why not. Wouldn't you just create some categories that allow attachments of various file types and size?

You would have to create a forum and only allow file attachments in that forum. There is no capability like the above in vB5 though.Translations provided by Google.
