Change of Forum URL

Hi;

I have been trying to change the URL for the forum for the last 2 days but no matter what we do we can't change it.

Keep receiving the following error:

• There was an error while trying to update the domain: The Domain Name already exists. Please choose a different one.

I am not sure what else we can do. Our previous version was 4.x which VBulletin team uploaded to the cloud. I was told the name could easily be changed by adding a CNAME and pointing the URL to the new site.

Any idea as to how this may be accomplished?
