Forum restrictions

Hi,

Sorry if this is simple but I am new to VB and I cannot find any relevant documentation or help.

I am looking to set up so that users of a certain group can only view a certain forum (as well as generic forums)

e.g. Users in group A can view "Main Forum" and "Forum A" (but not "Forum B")
Users in group B can view "Main Forum" and "Forum B" (but not "Forum A")

Also when using the search box, users in group A will only see results from "Main Forum" and "Forum A"

Any help would be much appreciated.

Go to AdminCP > Channel Management > Channel Permissions. There you can set up usergroup-based permissions for each channel (categories and forums).
