Navigation bar issue

Right. I'm trying to add the "todays posts" to my navigation bar. I have added it and saved about 20 times now.
Each time I then leave the site or even refresh the page the the "todays posts" vanishes. Yes. I am saving as other changes such as removing links is working fine.

What are you entering in for the link?

It was already there by default. Just not showing. It's this:

That should work. Did you check the permissions on the link? When you're editing it, there should be a link to show all the usergroups that should have permission to view it. By default only guest users have permission to view the Today's Post link. You can assign permissions so others can view it as well though.

Ahh that was it. I didn't even spot that permissions link.
