Issue getting phrase edits to work

As per this post, I have edited a couple of Phrases (specifically site_terms_and_rules and welcomemail_gemailbody) but they don't seem to be working.
The email that goes out is the default one and my TOS haven't updated. What am I missing?

I have since found out that there is a bug causing the email issue, which will be resolved in the next release, but that doesn't explain the TOS update not working.

i think i remember an issue like this when i was tinkering and was easy solved with something like clearing cache

We are on vB Cloud so unfortunately I don't think I can do that.

i dont know anything about cloud but i would think the basic maintenance stuff would still be there?

Ah yes, you are correct, I can clear the cache! Thanks.

Unfortunately clearing the cache didn't work. The same bug that I mentioned above applies to this situation as well unfortunately. For anyone else having this issue and looking for a hack, the only way is to edit the master language.

SOrry for my delayed response in return. I've heard from support who tell me that this is also a known bug and will be fixed in the next release. Thanks for your time.
