    Service Outage - AWS Northern California.

    Last night, Amazon Web Services had an outage in their Northern California datacenter. This adversely affected some of our cloud customers. Our network administrators were advised of the problem and Amazon worked to restore service.

    7:19 AM PDT [RESOLVED] Between 5:32 PM PDT on May 26, 2014 and 6:45 AM PDT on May 27, 2014 we experienced connectivity issues affecting some RDS database instances in a single Availability Zone in the US-WEST-1 Region. The issue has been resolved and the service is operating normally.

    We're sorry for the inconvenience and are continuing to work on the cloud products to create the best environment for our customers.
