*Update: As as of the time of this edit, TheForumHost.com deleted the rest of the messages in his forums and any messages critical of his service.*

Before you call someone a liar, perhaps you should CHECK first.

Your exergerating beyond belief. I have complained and lost nothing. I've read all your posts and can still see them when I go there.

I hope your problem works out, but this is nothing but hot air.

Nothing I have posted is "UNTRUE" or "HOT AIR". Have you checked his forums? As of this edit, he's wiped any criticism (good or bad) clean. This is no exaggeration. Everything I have posted here has been completely factual.

MY sites and ONLY my sites were COMPLETELY DELETED (CPanel and ALL) immediately after I informed him I was moving to a new host. He says they were hacked right at that time. You don't think that is TOO much of a coincidence?? And why has TFH refused to anknowledge any of my request for the data to be returned? If it was truly a hacker attack, you'd think he'd be happy to return my data and leave me on my way to my new host. No harm, no foul. Why has TFH refused to acknowledge my new hosts request to transfer the data? TFH is demonstrating their unwillingness to cooperate and that's the SMOKING GUN EVIDENCE everything I have said is true. I'd have no reason to be upset if they were cooperative. I've had to be vocal because of TFH's refusal to cooperate. Any honest host would be happy to give you your backups and let you go. TFH is getting exactly what they deserve, a bad review for bad service.

Until TFH owns up and gives me back ALL of my data up to 8/26/03 (all the MySQL databases and web site data), this HONEST and FAIR review is staying. It's EXACTLY what happened, like it or not.

An honest host who wants to prove they are innocent would have returned my data to me ASAP. TFH's failure to make any effort to return the data is all the proof you need that I am not exaggerating or blowing hot air, only telling the complete truth.

Is this the kind of service YOU want to use????

Do you need customers this bad you have to post in the host review section about other hosts. Again and again you claim to have read these bad reviews about us. and again and again I ask for the URL's and of course you never pan up. So either put your money where your mouth is on these claims you love to make against us or get out of the kitchen... Your agreeing with this guy because he is a customer and you kiss butt to keep the few customers you have. The guy deleted his files and then made up a bunch of far fetched tales. There are customers of mine on here all pointing out his lies and in fact his whole thread he claims we deleted is still intact and viewable in our forums. Speaking of our forums Many of my customers found it funny when you came and tried to review us on our forum, trying to get yourself more business.

How about you writing your own reviews about pdweb on host search? I think that would be considered misreputation as you are reveiwing your own service but writing it as you are just another customer. http://www.hostsearch.com/showcommen...mpanycode=7743

Cons: Not many at all. The billing department could use a little more speed.

Would you like to continue about using company ethics Trent? Maybe if you didn't spend so much time in forums worring about other companies business you have no need sticking your nose into you would have the memberbase and the customer service not to need to write reviews about yourself.

            more split posts

FYI, I received this email today:

            Subject: Forum Host Updates!

I am sad to say, but, I must say good bye for now. Some things have come up in my life this week that will make it impossable to spend much time on the Net. I will be giving everything to a local hosting guy, Mike. Mike also worked here behind the scenes as my server admin when I'm not around, so I trust the name I worked so hard to develope with him. Arragements have been made that all customers will keep the same prices they have now and the accounts will stay on the same servers. Also any site we sponsor will continue to be sponsored, just you will need to get with Mike on how he wants to handle the banner. Lastly also all pre-paid accounts will still receive the months they still have on credit. Same goes for billing, Mike will be given my 2 CheckOut and PayPal accounts. So their is no need to worry about billing.

I want to thank all of you for your business and wish you the best of luck with your sites. Mike will take care of updating the redirect to his site in a bit. His site is located at http://www.inlandhosting.net
            ----------------------

It seems the pressure from the Better Business Bureau, the Legal Action I was bringing against him AND our own pissed off users got to Richard Anderson pretty quickly. When you are a bad host, bad things happen to you.

            Goodbye TheForumHost.com.

It's a shame you are removing the threads, Steve. It's invaluable information for those seeking new web hosts. When a shady business like TFH switches names to avoid the bad reputation they earned, we should be able to let others know so they avoid the same mistakes.

I don't think I am dwelling on it. But he DID switch names to avoid the bad reputation he earned. IMHO, as long as he runs from the mess he created, I feel I need to warn other people to avoid Inlandhosting.net and any web sites affiliated with Richard Anderson.

I've been directing people to www.pdwebs.com. I wish I had found them before TheForumHost.com/Inlandhosting.net. It would have saved me a lot of headaches. The guys at PDWEBS.NET are really nice, answer email and even use AIM so I can talk to them real time. I have been referring people to them because they've done me well so far.

But yes, I did learn a valuable lesson. Backup your data regularly and a renegade host will have no impact on your web site.
You really need to get your facts straight. He didn't switch names, he gave his business to his server administrator that also has his own local hosting business because he had emergency family issues; it's really none of your business what so ever anyways, but get your facts straight before you start making asinine claims.

Mike has given out his aim info as well. I'm sure Mike is fully aware that he took on whatever reputation Harry earned, good or bad, no need to state the obvious multiple times, everyone gets the point.

                J.

The facts are completely straight. I think you're glasses are a bit fogged. You'd believe that I could purposely delete two full web sites and forums in less than 30 seconds? Including the control panel? I don't even KNOW how to delete the control panel. The only way to do what happened to me was on the HOSTS side. Even a blind monkey could see this. In fact, I was posting on my own boards when they were deleted. You've got to be kidding me if you think for one second that he told the truth at all.

You've vehemently defended him so much so, and blindly, that I wouldn't doubt if you are indeed him posting under another handle.

Nobody throws their "money making" business away like that. Nobody. You might believe everything you read and hear, but in this case, 2+2=foul play.

                  Like it or not.
