I had a very bad experience with them.
They took 3 days instead of the 24H promise to setup my site and they hardly replied to my emails asking for support. Infact one of their staff was rude to me using CAPS instead of being polite
They didnt send me any details abouy my account benefits and I decided to cancel after 1 week. They apologized and said they dont have very good customer support.
Not recommended!!Comment

really ??? maybe after you, they decided that they needed a change.... my first e-mail that i sent them, they sent me back an excellent response in less than a minute
and after that, I sent several more e-mails... to me, their support is one of the best out there
I guess i just got lucky lol

I have found markhost (http://www.marhost.co.uk) very good for me their support has been very good and havent had a spot of downtime since i joined them (4 months). Setting up VB on their servers couldn't be easier as you can set up the database in real time via their control panel. Furthermore their prices are the best i've seen for what you get in return so i reccomend them all the way!

They seem to have fixed their site since earlier, which makes me think that your post is spam advertising your own services - but then again I could be wrong, but after a year of spootting these sort of things on SitePoint I don't think I am.Comment

their site has always worked for me so i cant comment on your problems, i'm not markhost.co.uk i just recommend their services as i thought this thread was about sharing experiences with hosts that we have been with. I cant see how you think my reply is spam because i'm just a customer of theirs and i dont get any benifits if people from here go their way or not.Originally posted by Karl

Have been very unhappy with the service. I administer a 50+ simultaneous user site (http://www.sr20deforum.com) and we have been down many times in the last week. It seems to be getting worse as time goes on. I'm currently going to shop around for alternatives.
