Apache vs Nginx, which one is the best for vBulletin forum?

Anyone here is using Nginx web server for your vBulletin forum? especially for vB4, I am going to move from Apache to Nginx but not sure Nginx is more better than Apache.
    Any thoughts?

    Hello,

The honest answer is: it depends.

If the only concern is the performance gain and lower resources usage then by all means nginx paired with php-fpm environment is by far the best choice out there.

If you relying on some extensions that are available only to Apache (like suphp, mod_rewrite although the rewriting rules can be converted to nginx format) then having a hybrid environment (nginx as front-end and Apache as back-end) would better suit your needs.

Nginx has by far a less resource usage and provides better performance but the only misfortune, when compared to Apache, is that it lacks some features that are available only to Apache users.

    Kind regards,
    George.
