    Cheap dedicated server

    Hi all,

I am looking to find a reasonably-priced dedicated server that could host a vBulletin forum of 1.3 million posts.

Any suggestions? I'm currently paying $209/month, and it's a bit steep for me.

    Thanks

Thanks. I see they're currently still working on their dedicated servers:

Check Hivelocity or in case you really want cheap server, then OVH, but their support is quite slow.

I ended up choosing Bluehost, and I'm very happy with them.I chose the middle-range dedicated server for $199 - the first month is free, that is why I signed up with them (I was short of cash). But now I'm very happy ... the server is faster than my previous host. Even on Alexa now it says my site speed is "Average", instead of "Slow" that is always was. Recommended.

I recommend to you flipper host, the price is great and the servers are pretty nice as well.

              • 1024MB Ram
              • Unmanaged VPS
              • 1024MB vSwap
              • 4 CPU Cores
              • 75GB RAID10 Diskspace
              • 2000GB Bandwidth
              • 1 IPv4 Address
              • OpenVZ/SolusVM
              • 100Mbps Port
              • $5.99/Month or $16.00/Quarterly

Well it's been a few months now, and I have no complaints. My forum now has almost 1.7 million posts and traffic is increasing. Server is fast and I haven't had any downtime. Strongly recommended.
