How did your 2million post forum work on a shared server using VB?

Now that you have swtiched to XF, are you still on a shared server? If so, what is your forum link?

i`d say he was using a vps at least as even my forum with 4500 posts was`nt anygood on a shared host

Since you are hosting VBulletin forum,obviously the high server resources may used, as it will increasing forum members and posts,you need to go with best hosting providers who have 27*7 support and server uptime,vps is preferred for your hosting.

We have used Hostrocket for 12 years so far. Their dedicated server costs 69.99 a month (plus cpanel) for plenty of memory and hard drive. They have 24 hr dedicated server phone support.

As they come out with stronger servers every year, we have the option of switching over for the same low cost
