    8 GIG Ram
    2TB HDD (Raid 1 Soft )

No, that is quite expensive, you could get a much faster server for that price.

      No.

(Please don't go for software RAID). Also, which Quad-Core CPU is it?

I assume the bandwidth port is shared?

What do you suggest, if not RAid 1 ?
        its
        Intel® Core™2 Quad Processor Q8400

and bandwidth is dedicated to me only, not shared.

He didnt say avoid RAID 1, he said avoid software raid.

          RAID should be hardware based.

Watch out with some of the IWEB fee's they aren't cheap, and there servers are more overpriced due to the overhead they have. IE: Your paying for there employee's to work on other people's servers with the high tacked on fees per server.

Thing with IWEB is, they don't have US servers they are all based in Canada, which isn't good for certain countries and some US States. They have high upgrade fees, $20 per 1gb per month(Normal rate is $10/per 1gb), $50 operating system reload fee(Most places offer this for free or at least half this price), $75 hour tech support, $150 a month for server management level #5 for like 24/7 server monitoring, software firewall, and a few other extras which most places offer for free, or one time fee.

            Just some things to consider.

They do for DD2 ram, but not DD3 ram, anything that is a half decent server will use DD3 ram.

If they seem to work for you, I'd suggest go for them, If you don't mind paying there prices they are for you. But the only people that uses IWEB's services are people that don't know anything about the hosting industry and how much "actual" servers are and "real" upgrades cost.
